Sustainable clothing

Comeback Streetwear is focused on ensuring that the clothes we sell meet some basic requirements, which means that the people who have helped make the clothes have proper conditions and that the clothes meet standards for clothing production, including consideration for the environment.

Clothes from Comeback Streetwear are made by producers who have Fair Wear membership. Fair Wear membership means that the clothing is manufactured under certain standards set by Fair Wear. These are the following standards:

- No forced employment
- No child labour
- No discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, political opinion, trade union affiliation, nationality, social origin or disability
- Minimum wage requirements
- Requirements for reasonable working hours
- Secure working conditions

GOTS certified - Global organic textile standard

GOTS is an international ecological labeling of clothing and textiles. The brand makes demands for environmental and social responsibility throughout the value chain – that is, right from the field to the finished garment. As a general rule, 95 percent of the fibers must be organic, and a number of chemicals, bleaches and dyes are prohibited.

The production must also comply with a number of requirements on how to handle and clean waste water. The requirements for working conditions include rules on working hours, safety, the right to organize in a trade union and decent wages.

Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® means that all components of the clothing, i.e. fabric, thread, button, zip and other accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and that the product is therefore harmless to human health. The test is carried out by independent OEKO-TEX® institutes on the basis of the extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. The test takes into account all legally regulated and many non-regulated substances that can be harmful to human health. In many cases, the limit values for STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements.

    PETA VEGAN certified

The clothes are 100% vegan. This means that no dyes, yarn products or other products used during the manufacturing process of the clothing contain animal ingredients and have not been tested on animals.

*NB: Caps and Beanies do not have pending certifications.
